PJL Telecom records telephone calls between you and our company for quality assurance, training, and customer service improvement purposes.

  • Calls to and from PJL Telecom staff are recorded when you contact our support line or when our staff contacts you
  • Calls between customer equipment/systems are NOT recorded by PJL Telecom

AI-Powered Call Analysis:

We utilize artificial intelligence technology powered by OpenAI to:

  • Transcribe recorded calls into text format
  • Summarize call content for quality assurance
  • Analyze customer interactions to improve service delivery
  • Generate insights for training purposes

Pre-Call Notice:

Before any call recording begins, you will hear an automated announcement informing you that the call is being recorded and that we use AI technology to transcribe and analyze calls. By continuing the call after this announcement, you consent to the recording and AI processing.

  • Audio recordings of calls
  • AI-generated transcripts of conversations
  • AI-generated summaries and insights
  • Metadata (call duration, date, time, phone numbers)

AI Provider:

Our AI transcription services utilize OpenAI's technology. While we have agreements in place to protect your data, please be aware that call transcripts may be processed by third-party AI services in accordance with their privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

8. EMERGENCY SERVICES (911/E911) DISCLOSURE

PJL Telecom provides Cloud PBX services that may be used to make emergency calls. However, all PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) connectivity, including 911/E911 emergency services, is provided through our partner ClearlyIP.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT EMERGENCY SERVICES:

  • Separate Agreement: Customers must execute a separate agreement with ClearlyIP for PSTN and emergency services
  • Service Differences: Internet-based emergency calling services differ from traditional wireline telephone services
  • Location Accuracy: You are responsible for registering and maintaining accurate location information for all endpoints that may be used to dial 911
  • Service Limitations: Emergency services may not function during power outages, internet service disruptions, or service failures
  • Testing Required: You are responsible for testing your emergency calling functionality

PJL Telecom does not directly provide 911/E911 services and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of emergency calling services.
